Matt Peat
Executive Vice President of Transhield
With nearly three decades in his career, Matt Peat has driven Transhield’s evolution from a startup to a leader in protective cover technology. Since joining the Patrick family in 2022, Transhield has been a top manufacturer of protective covers across defense, aviation, marine, rail, and industrial markets. Matt began with Transhield in 1995, contributing significantly to its expansion.
Transhield stands out for prioritizing corrosion research and managing protection end-to-end, with high-quality, patented, and custom-fit products to safeguard valuable assets from factory to destination. President Jim Glick’s emphasis on family values has fostered a supportive culture, making employees feel like part of the Transhield family.
A Ball State University graduate, Matt has expertise in sales management, business development, and product innovation. He actively serves on NMMA boards and enjoys outdoor activities, including boating, hunting, and RV travels with his wife Katie and their three daughters, who are also active in sports.
Robert Fuentes
The Motivated Mogul
Meet Robert Fuentes, a seasoned professional and Business Unit Director at Frontline Manufacturing, with a diverse journey in manufacturing.
Starting in 2009 while pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Trine University, Robert’s spent his days building fiberglass sidewalls for the RV industry. Over the years, Robert quickly ascended from the production line to leadership roles, eventually becoming a Plant Superintendent and overseeing 200+ employees in an Automotive Company. His journey continued as a Business Unit Manager for a coating division which painted components for the automotive and military industries.
At Frontline since November 2017, Robert relishes the daily challenges, collaborating with team members, and assisting customers to bring innovative fiberglass showers to market.
When asked about his proudest moments, Robert said, “In August of 2022, my wife Edith and I became parents to a beautiful baby girl, Avery Alayna. A close second is getting my MBA in May of 2022 from the University of Notre Dame. Some people thought I was crazy because when I joined the program, COVID had just taken off and the world was in chaos. The program taught me a lot about being resilient and how to look at business from a different lens.”
Robert believes in leaving a positive mark on the world and aspires to inspire younger generations to become leaders, emphasizing the importance of reaching for their goals despite obstacles.
Paivi Hiltunen-Miller
The Resilient Leader
Meet Paivi Hiltunen-Miller, a wife, mother, and Accounting Manager who has built an impressive 14-year career at Patrick. She now oversees the corporate accounts payable team and also manages corporate leases. Originally from Finland, Paivi moved to the United States at the age of 23, eventually finding her way to Patrick after settling in Indiana. Known for her dedication and leadership, Paivi praises her team for their hard work and describes them as a tight-knit, collaborative group that is both positive and passionate. “It is my team that makes my role especially rewarding,” Miller says.
In October 2022, Paivi’s world shifted when her son, Braxton, was diagnosed with leukemia. Faced with months of intense treatment, Paivi and her family relied heavily on the support of friends, neighbors, and Patrick team members. She fondly remembers the immediate outreach from her team and leaders, offering flexibility and covering her work in her absence. “We’re very independent, and we take care of our own things… but Patrick showed us we really are better together. The outreach and support were remarkable.” It is this collective support that helped her navigate the most challenging period of her life.
Now, with Braxton in remission and back to actively enjoying sports, Paivi reflects on the values that have strengthened her journey: family, resilience, and community. She is most appreciative of Patrick’s core values, specifically BALANCE, which allowed her to focus on her family when it mattered most.
As our featured Industry Influencer, Paivi is a reminder to all of us that, in times of personal or professional challenge, the support of a strong work culture can make all the difference. We’re proud to have her as part of the Patrick family and look forward to many more years of her leadership and dedication.
Danilo Carnelos
Thirteen years ago, Danilo came to the U.S. for the first time, after high school on a soccer scholarship to William Woods University. After a couple years of playing soccer at WWU, Danilo decided to transfer to Grace College. That decision to transfer colleges proved to be one of the best decisions of his life; that’s where he met his wife and found an opportunity to start his journey at Patrick.
Danilo began working at Patrick in 2020 as a Division Controller in the Marine Group. His dedication and expertise quickly earned him a promotion to Marine Controller, where he supported various business units. In his current role, Danilo focuses on special projects that aim to streamline finance processes using the technology available to the organization with a focus on our corporate ERP system. He has become a crucial point of contact for various finance-related systems, helping to streamline processes and ensure smooth operations across the organization.
When asked about his job, Danilo’s passion for building relationships and providing exceptional customer service stands out. Whether addressing finance or non-finance related questions, his commitment has earned him the trust and respect of his colleagues. “One of the coolest things about my job is becoming the trusted advisor to teammates across the US,” he shared.
Outside of work, Danilo enjoys playing soccer, a passion since his days in Brazil, and spending time on the lake with his family. Boating, surfing, and teaching his children to surf are among his favorite activities. With three kids (ages 5, 4, 2) and a fourth on the way (due Nov 2024), Danilo and his wife of nearly 8 years, cherish their family time and love being outdoor enthusiasts.

Brock Jones
Meet Brock Jones, Xtreme Tower Products (XTP) Engineering Project Manager with almost 25 years of experience. With his go-getter attitude and customer first mentality, Brock is one of the primary catalysts behind XTP’s long-lasting customer base.
When Brock first started at XTP, he welded and painted towers and led his colleagues by example. His dedication to quality work and positive attitude were impossible to deny and Brock was soon promoted to production control and eventually plant manager. With his experience in each department, Brock is easily “one of, if not the most, knowledgeable employees when it comes to understanding all XTP’s processes,” said Scott Williamson, XTP’s Business Unit Director. “Brock is a devoted family man and is a great example of a role model human and employee. XTP is lucky to have him on our team.”
As an Engineering Project Manager, Brock works with engineers and design teams to bring new and innovative products to life – including the TurboSwing. Brock explains that his favorite part of this job is the challenges, being able to troubleshoot, and always working on something new.
Brock believes that being an effective leader is not being afraid to get your hands dirty and being able to connect and collaborate with your team.
Outside of work, Brock enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys camping, cheering on his daughters at cheer competitions, and playing his guitar.
