Minecraft Mods
Train’s Tweaks
For Minecraft 1.21.1; Fabric & NeoForge
Train’s Tweaks is a comprehensive tweaking mod for both Fabric and NeoForge that allows the user to configure many hardcoded aspects of Minecraft. It arose from me wanting to customize the game experience in ways that the game itself and other mods did not allow. By editing the config files generated by the mod, the end-user can create an experience that’s just right for them. Features include difficulty changes, the ability to replace the hardcoded mob drops, and experience curve configuration, and many more. See the mod page or GitHub repository for more details.
Hold Your Enemies Closer
For Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21.3-1.21.4; Fabric & NeoForge
Hold Your Enemies Closer is a small mod for both Fabric and NeoForge that adds enchantments that contrast with enchantments in the vanilla (unmodified) game. It is named after the Attraction enchantments, which can be put on swords, and pulls enemies towards the direction they were hit instead of knocking them away.
BotaniaCombat
For Minecraft 1.20.1; Fabric
BotaniaCombat seeks to create a variety of weapons using materials from the Botania mod and to integrate Botania with Better Combat mod as well as some other combat library mods.
Linear Levels
For Minecraft 1.20.1; Fabric
Linear Levels is a mod that makes the amount of experience points needed to get your player character to the next level configurable by the player. This mod was folded into the Train’s Tweaks Experience feature in future Minecraft versions.
OcelotFix
For Minecraft 1.20.1; Fabric
Before Minecraft update 1.14, the player could obtain cats by feeding wild ocelots in jungles. This feature was removed; wild cats would now appear around villages, and while ocelots still appeared in jungles, they could no longer be tamed like cats could. This made the ocelot mob near-useless, so I created OcelotFix to restore the 1.14 behavior. This mod was folded into the Train’s Tweaks Ocelot feature in future Minecraft versions.
Mana Gear
For Minecraft 1.16.1-1.16.5, 1.18.2; Forge
This is a Minecraft mod that allows players to use materials from the Botania mod for the Silent Gear mod. It allows these two different mods’ features to work together in a seamless way. This video demonstrates the Mana Repair and Terra Blade Beam features of Botania in Silent Gear tools.
Dragon Gear
For Minecraft 1.16.3-1.16.5; Forge
In a similar vein to Mana Gear, Dragon Gear allows players to use materials from the Ice and Fire: Dragons in a Whole New Light mod for the Silent Gear mod.
This video demonstrates Lightning Dragonsteel Ingots from Ice and Fire being use to create a Silent Gear sword capable of summoning lightning. It also shows Silent Gear armor made of Ice and Fire‘s Serpent Scales, which gives the player Water Breathing and a Strength effect when in contact with water.
Games
War++
War++ is a different take on the classic card game war, made in Godot. It features a new mechanic: Reinforcements, a limited resource for each player that can be used to sway the results of a round. It’s playable on the web here! I really enjoyed working on this project and I may convert it to a mobile app someday.

Taterhou
Taterhou, full title Taterhou: Tenacious Daybloom Deluxe, is a parody game of Touhou Project, made in Unreal Engine 4, featuring characters from the Botania Minecraft mod. Taterhou is a shoot-em-up where the player must avoid mana bolts from enemy flowers while shooting taters of their own to take out the enemies. While the game was originally designed as a joke for the Botania community, I liked it enough to add to it (hence the Deluxe) and release it on itch.io.

There are three levels, and the last one has a difficult final boss, but it is possible to beat! There are also easter eggs in the form of cheat codes. Can you find them all?
