Parke is one of those brands that is known by its name without being associated with its logo. Since the brand’s inception in 2022, the varsity script across the chest, the boxy mockneck silhouette and the soft mid weight fleece have made the sweatshirt a staple in people’s closets. What Makes Parke Sweatshirts Stand Out?

There are basically two types of sweatshirts available in the market. The low-end provides thin cloth that stretches out after several washes. The costly end provides you with solid designer garments that end up being difficult to fit for the day to day. Parke is in another place. The material used is a soft brushed interior and mid-weight cotton that is structured enough to support the varsity print, but soft enough to wear all day. When it comes to the most ordered, the Birthday Varsity Mockneck is surely one of them with its script logo on a clean, cream base, which goes with just about any bottom. The Holiday Classic Hoodie has gained a loyal customer base over the colder months with its thicker fleece and all-encompassing hood. In third place, right after the Hometown Varsity Hoodie, is the Hometown Varsity Zip Up Hoodie, which is ordered by shoppers looking for a coordinated outfit with the matching mockneck. If you’re a first-time wearer of the brand, you’re off to a great start with one of these three options; you’ll get a feel for the fit and feel before delving into the more seasonal releases including Coastal Varsity, Holiday Plaid or the Valentine’s drop.

Parke Sweatshirt

The most famous design that brought Parke to fame is the mockneck. The standing collar is set an inch and a half high from the shoulder line and provides an even higher effect than a regular crewneck without the bulk of a turtleneck. The material used is the same medium weight cotton throughout the collection, and has a soft brushed interior that is skin friendly. The most distinguishing feature is the script logo on the chest. It is usually located across the upper chest, in a varsity style, with the brand name in block letters. Each of the Birthdays, Hometown, Coastal, and Valentine’s have their own colour schemes and a few little detail differences, but the silhouette remains the same. The mockneck is versatile and can be paired with denim, cotton boxer pants or the matching Parke sweatpants. A long-sleeve tee under can be worn for colder weather without compromising the style.

Parke Hoodies

The Parke hoodies come in a variety of 3 styles. The Classic Hoodie is the most popular, featuring a pullover style and varsity script on the front. The Varsity Hoodie features larger designs, often with a print on the chest and back, and is slightly heavier than the regular varsity hoodie. The Zip-Up Hoodie opens up at the front and can be worn as a hooded sweatshirt over a t-shirt or under a jacket during transitional seasons. It comes in a variety of colours such as black, grey, navy, heather, red and seasonal limited releases. All pullover hoodies are equipped with a kangaroo pocket deep enough to accommodate a phone and come with the regular adjustable drawcord hood. The zip-up version features instead two side pockets for holding items instead of the front pocket.

Parke Tees

The Parke tee line is no different than the rest of the line, with the same restraint. The black or white Classic Tee is the base design, featuring a small varsity script logo on the chest. The Holiday Striped Tee, the Brown Stripe Cotton Tee and the Crown Ribbed Short sleeve Tee are more than just adding graphics, but also adding visual texture. The cotton is mid weight and not thin so that the tee has structure when worn on its own. The cut is slightly boxy, going through the chest instead of a typical fitted tee which would go through the waist. This allows for easy layering over top of a mockneck sweatshirt or worn as a standalone with shorts and boxer pants.

Parke Sweaters

If you’re looking for something that’s a little bit different than the typical sweatshirt, you can opt for one of the Parke sweaters: the Cotton Crewneck, the Oversized Pullover or the Cardigan Grey. The Polo Sweater is a combination of knit fabric with a small button placket and folded collar, for a slightly raised appearance in semi-casual settings. These pieces are great when it’s not too cold for full fleece and not too hot for a tee, during the transitional months. The knit construction adds to the brushed cotton sweatshirts having a different texture, which is a great addition to the clothes in the line.

Parke Sweatpants

The Parke cotton boxer pants are an unexpected favorite, along with the sweatshirts. It is inspired by old school boxing trunks but is made from every day cottons, featuring elastic side pockets and elastic waistband. They are somewhere between a sweatpant and a casual short in terms of formality and are suitable for use at home, around town or on travel days. The Waffle, Striped, Cotton and Twill Horseshoe options provide varying weights and textures of fabric, but retain the same relaxed fit. For a matching look, wear them with a matching sweatshirt or mockneck, or a plain tee for a more relaxed outfit.

Parke Dresses and Rompers

The dress/romper section is smaller, yet adheres to the same styling. Warm-weather and transitional outerwear is taken care of by the Corduroy Overall Mini Dress, the Denim Mini Dress and the Long Sleeve and Short Sleeve Denim Rompers. From the cutdowns, they’re comfortable but not oversized and the fabrics are selected for everyday use. These are suitable for wearing alone or under a Parke tee depending on the weather. How Sizing Works at Parke?

Parke pieces are not quite oversized, they are cut with a bit of a ‘margin’. When you wear a medium in regular high street brands, a true size at Parke will provide a comfortable fit that doesn’t feel boxy through the chest and shoulders. If a smaller size is desired, down one will work for most body types for a more personalized look. When aiming for a bigger streetwear outfit, it is better to go up in size to achieve a dropped shoulder silhouette, but not oversized the body length. The chest, length and sleeve sizes are given for each product page. The best way to match a sweatshirt is to compare it with one that you already have and enjoy.

How to Care for Your Parke Sweatshirt?

The varsity print and mid-weight fleece will last longer if washed inside out on a gentle cycle in cold water. Do not put mid-weight cotton sweatshirts on the tumble dryer without checking, as the main cause of shrinkage and crackling prints on mid-weight cotton sweatshirts is done in the tumble dryer on high heat. Hanging is not as good as air drying on a clean surface to maintain the original shape.

Steer clear of fabric softeners and bleach. They both can compromise the screen-printed varsity script over time and the softener residue may cause a mess inside the fleece due to the brushes. In addition, the sweatshirt’s colour and structure will last longer if washed every 5-7 wears rather than after every use.

Shipping and Returns:

Orders are shipped 24-48 hours after receipt of payment and tracking is provided immediately after shipment to the parcel’s destination. Standard delivery is within 7-15 working days after receipt, depending on the country of delivery. Faster delivery options are available at checkout. Unworn and with original tags, items will be returned within 30 days of delivery. Refunds are issued within 5-7 working days from the date you return the parcel to us. If you state this on the form of return that is included, exchanges for different sized and/or coloured items are also easy.
