Classification: for current and trainee classifiers

World Abilitysport,  which governs World Para Fencing, ensures that all of its international classifiers are kept up-to-date with the current policies and procedures so they can do their jobs to a high standard.

A certification procedure is in place so that everyone involved with this area can be trained and assessed appropriately before they become international classifiers.

Training courses are provided for new classifiers as well as existing ones. There are two levels of classifiers – national classifiers are trained by countries whilst international classifiers are managed by World Abilitysport.
