PAM-STAMP 2G is an industry-grade sheet metal forming simulation suite designed to take stamping processes from early feasibility through die design, validation, and production support. It helps engineers predict and resolve issues such as splits, wrinkling, thinning, and springback before cutting steel, reducing tryouts and shortening lead times. The platform supports multi-stage processes—including draw, re-strike, trimming, flanging, hemming, and post-forming—along with hot forming/press hardening and tailored blanks. It features fast inverse and detailed incremental solvers, advanced material models for steels and aluminum (including anisotropy and rate effects), and tools for draw-bead representation, blank and trim optimization, and springback compensation. PAM-STAMP 2G integrates with major CAD systems, offers automated meshing and process templates, and delivers rich visualization (FLD, thickness, strain, and stress plots). Scalable compute options and batch capabilities enable rapid design iterations and robust what-if studies. Widely used by OEMs and suppliers in automotive, aerospace, and appliance manufacturing, it improves part quality, increases die hit rates, and lowers development cost by enabling reliable, simulation-driven decisions throughout the stamping lifecycle.
