Pale September was founded by Lisa Scott in 2006.
Lisa built her first website in 2004 as a means of publishing her family tree on the net using books borrowed from the local library and free software in a magazine.
Web design is a second career for Lisa having spent many years as an accountant where there was little opportunity for any creativity. However, Lisa did gain extensive experience of paying meticulous attention to detail, budget management, financial computer systems, working within a project team and to tight deadlines.
Having thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the fusion of creative and technical processes which encompassed her love of both computers and design Lisa realized this could be the beginning of an exciting new direction and decided to take a more professional approach to coding and design by passing with a distinction, a diploma in Web Design.
