Pain in an eye can often be a manifestation of serious eye diseases. Patients can delay diagnosis for not recognizing the different ocular findings. We present a revolutionary application that allows a diagnostic screening in patients with ocular pain. The iphone camera capture the image of the pupil of the patient and a simple algorithm can determine a preliminary diagnosis. The algorithm is based on the pupillary light response of the camera. This application can be really useful for emergency physicians, physicians in training and people with eye problems who want to rule out acute conditions such as acute glaucoma. This application is exclusively for iOS. Get more for your iphone making it a diagnostic screening tool.
