[The video opens in Itachi's small and sparse apartment.  It takes a moment for the camera to focus but when it does it reveals Sasuke, hovering over the stove waiting for what seems like a pot of water to boil.  He glances to the side, noticing that the recording device he had place on the counter had turned itself on.  He sighs and picks it up.]

If there is someone out there who would like to speak to Sasuke today, I'm afraid to inform you that he may not be well enough at the moment to do so.  When he returns to his own body, I am sure that will be a more convenient time to contact him, but until then your conversation will have to wait.

[It's at this point that the water comes to a boil and Itachi's attention returns once more to making tea.  He places the device aside, neglecting to turn it off as he begins to mix the ingredients into the water.  He takes a deep breath through his nose, taking in the scent of the tea.  This was not an unusual occurrence for him, but usually the mere action would cause terrible pain through his lungs, but in this body that was hardly a problem.  It was something, however, that his younger brother was currently suffering through.]

[And it's one of the main reasons he's here, making sure that Sasuke is as comfortable as possible for the time that he's trapped in Itachi's failing body.]

[Once he finishes making the tea, he grabs a cup and pours the steaming liquid into it.  He places the kettle back on the stove and, before taking the cup to Sasuke, grabs his communicator and, finally, turns it off.]

[And for Sasuke in the other room, Itachi will arrive shortly with your tea.]

[Itachi is simply in his apartment the morning of the twenty seventh, going about his day when the affects of the curse hit him.  All around him in his mind the scene changes and becomes the streets of the Uchiha compound on the night of the massacre.  All around him are the dismembered remains of his family members, most done by his own hands.  It is a moment he has relived in his head countless times over the years, but he's never hallucinated something like this.]

[He is covered in the blood of his kin as he chases down his little brother, who has run from him in terror after Itachi used the Mangekyou Sharingan on his fragile mind.  It doesn't take long to track him down and suddenly he begins to speak, though it is soft to those who are out of his illusion.]

Foolish little brother...if you wish to kill me, hate me, detest me, and live in an unsightly way.  Run, run and cling to life and when you have the same eyes as mine, come to me.

[The illusion begins to fade after this moment, though for Itachi a few key factors linger for a moment, such as the corpses surrounding him and the tear stained face of his little brother looking up at him in complete terror.  Once the vision breaks, Itachi takes a step back from where he was but he does not look visibly shaken.  He has come to expect these sort of things from this world and this is hardly the first time he has revisited this memory.  Though, as he turns and faces the device (and then goes to turn it off) his eyes are blood red and spinning.  And with that, the feed stops.]

[The video turns on and reveals a small looking apartment in the City, one that only has the necessities for survival.  There aren't many interesting things to look at, but after a moment someone does come into view.  To those who may know him, or know what he looks like, it is obvious that it is Itachi who has stepped into view.]

[Except for the fact that he looks many years younger than he did just the day before.  If one were to guess, he would perhaps look like someone in his very early teens.]

[Clearly, Itachi has been affected by the age reversal curse.  Unfortunately, with the curse it doesn't seem to look like he remembers the City at all, at least for today.]

[The feed turns off only a few seconds after Itachi's eyes, burning red with the sharingan, fall upon the recording device.]

So these "curses" can range in a wide variety of events happening, it would seem.  First the influx of "visitors" and then the sickness just a few days ago.

[He pauses for a moment...though Itachi at this point is no longer a he but a she.  There isn't much visible difference in Itachi's appearance, though the small curve of her breasts is not big it is noticeably difference than Itachi's usual flat chest. Itachi's voice is also slightly higher than usual, but it is still fairly low for a woman's voice.  Overall...not much is that different.]

Apparently they can change bodies without the use of henge no jutsu as well.

OOC:  Obviously Itachi's affected by the gender swap curse!  Have fun~

[There's not much going on with this post.  Itachi is simply sitting there as he turns on the device.  He waits a few seconds before voicing his question.]

Is this influx of people a normal occurrence in the City?

[And that's basically it.  He turns the feed off and waits for replies.  Curious as to who might show up.]

[The device turns on and reveals a dark haired young man who has long, dark lines under his eyes.  That wouldn’t be all that strange, but this man’s eyes are bright red with black marks in them that seem to be…spinning.]

[The man’s voice is deep and has a serious tone to it.]
 
I am not entirely sure what this device is, but it seems to be a communicator.  If I have stumbled upon one like this, there is just as much of a chance that you have obtained something similar.
 
[He pauses for a moment, as if he’s waiting for an immediate reply.  After a few seconds, he lets out a small sigh before continuing.]
 
If you receive this message, know that we are still setting out to complete my mission.  You know where to go and what your part is.  Once I figure out my location, I will move forward and continue to the hideout. 
 
[He moves to turn the device off but he hesitates for a moment, since this very well may be the last communication he has with his partner.]
 
I have the utmost confidence in you that you will serve your part well, Kisame. 
 
[If Kisame was there, he would understand the implied “thank you” of the statement.  But he is not, so to anyone, it sounds like someone who is just making sure another gets the job done.]
 
[The feed ends immediately after.]
