SMARTACULAR explores how global sustainability principles can be woven together with local knowledge and participatory design practices to reimagine the built environment. The project investigates how communities worldwide are creating context-appropriate structures that respond to their unique ecological, social, and cultural realities. Through mapping, documentation, and co-design, SMARTACULAR aims to bridge global frameworks with grounded, place-specific innovation.
