Queer Quest: Vendor Booth Event Rules & Regulations

Welcome to Queer Quest: A Journey to Self-Discovery!

Our Exhibit Hall is a sanctuary of imagination, wellness, and quantum-inspired transformation. To ensure a safe, accessible, and affirming space for all, the following guidelines apply to all vendors and booth hosts:

GENERAL EVENT RULES

1. Booth Set-Up & Break-Down

  • Set-up: October 11, 2025, between 7:00–8:30 AM.
  • Break-down: Must begin no earlier than 5:30 PM on Day 2, October 12, 2025 unless otherwise approved.
  • Vendors must check in at the designated Info Hub upon arrival.

2. Space & Equipment

3. Booth Conduct

  • All activations and displays must align with the Queer Quest values of liberation, consent, care, and cultural integrity.
  • Vendors must remain within their assigned footprint and not obstruct pathways.
  • Sales are permitted (no commission taken), but vendors are responsible for their own payment systems and local tax compliance.

4. Inclusivity & Safety

  • Queer Quest is a BIPOC Queer-centered space; vendors must honor the lived experiences of attendees.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate removal.
  • All materials and language must be affirming, trauma-informed, and non-exploitative.

5. Brand Alignment

  • Vendors may not distribute materials unrelated to their approved activation or that conflict with Queer Quest’s mission.
  • Co-branded signage is allowed with prior approval.

6. Liability & Insurance

  • Vendors are responsible for their own insurance and assume liability for any damage, theft, or injury within their booth space.
  • Oyanova Enterprises and Center on Halsted are not liable for personal injury, theft, or damage.
