You don t even need an internet connection. It only requires a GPS signal and cellular coverage. This works completely offline, therefore the app won't send your location to any server. But how does it work? We use a smart algorithm that allows us to convert your location to a really small link like "www.ovt.re/UlMVQgtg_0wg". This link can be sent as a text message to any mobile phone around the globe. The algorithms are designed to completely run offline and the link uses a space of only 23 characters. Thus, this leaves enough space to add some additional text, like holiday greetings for example. Over There also provides a great web-service for the recipient on mobile devices. Every smartphone owner can use this link to easily look up your location using Google Maps. Another advantage is that if you want to share your location via Facebook, WhatsApp etc., you don't have to allow them location permissions anymore - just use the In-App dialog. Over There 2 will not collect any kind of data. Finally, all this comes alive on a visually stunning user interface. It provides you with detailed GPS information, including altitude and speed. This is still not all!
