I didn’t know Münter did it. I saw some of her work at the The Blue Rider exhibition at the Tate last year. Vanessa Bell did it, but I got the inspiration from Hamid Zénati. He seemed to decorate absolutely everything! Made me realise a bit of cheap, joyful creativity is within everyone’s reach if we just jump in.
I have been studying Gabriele Munter, who painted some of her furnishings. I am keen to do the same, and you’ve beat me to the punch.
