Early Childhood Nature School Assistant
The Nature School Assistant Educator will support the Program Director to plan and implement our inquiry-based nature school program for children ages 3.5 to 5. The position will start in mid-August 2026, with the school year running September through early June. Summer opportunities may be available. Read the position description here>
Outdoor Science Educator – Summer Seasonal
The Outdoor Science Educator will work with OEA Program Directors to plan and deliver summer camp programs for children ages 5-12. Responsibilities include teaching natural science lessons, leading outdoor activities, and guiding campers as they explore and play in natural settings. This position works collaboratively with other OEA summer camp staff and volunteers and reports to the Program Directors. Read the position description here>
Summer Camp Counselor – Summer Seasonal
The Summer Camp Counselor will work with a team of educators and volunteers to deliver summer camp programs for children ages 5-12. Responsibilities include supervising campers and supporting camp activities. Read the position description here>
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Field Trip Educator
Do you enjoy spending time outdoors? Do you enjoy working with youth and sharing knowledge about the natural world? Join OEA as a Volunteer Educator and help provide students with a hands-on, educational experience which encourages investigation and discovery with the natural world. No experience is necessary. Training, resources, and materials will be provided. Please read the position description for details.
