Welcome to 2010. Things will be changing on my LJ, but first, to rest people's minds: I'm not going to do some massive friend cut. However, this is a safe time for you to say if you're just not interested in my inane babbles; actually, any time is. I'm not the kind of person to get all drama-filled over that.

However, my privacy settings on my entries will be changing. ( Read below, or just ignore the whole entry since I have a feeling it won't change too much except how *I* organize things.Collapse )

Finally, feel free to make any other suggestions. If you'd like to be filtered out of entries in which I talk about...oh, cheese or something else I haven't thought of...just let me know and I can do that pretty easily.

I hate being allergic to so many things that I usually don't know what's causing my rashes. It's so annoying. Why is my skin so sensitive? Bah.

GRE JOY! That went WONDERFULLY!

NaNo is coming and although I've had ideas and I've been waiting for what feels like ages and I still really want NaNo to be here...I can't plan. When I sit down to start making a plan, I come up with a whole two sentences. And I had this new idea, not necessarily for a novel, but possibly to make into an RP but...I'm tempted to turn it into a novel, since I can plan that, but can't plan the story I was going to write.

Augh! I'm not sure what to do about this. I'm sure part of it is that I'm just not giving myself much time or space to be creative -- I work a lot, I study a lot, and when I have free time the last thing I usually want to do is anything that remotely taxes my brain. Except writing is supposed to be fun, right? This is something I love doing, and I love NaNo, so what's up? Dear Caffeine-addicted NaNo Muse Goddess, please come back to me! I need you, quick! *offers up coffee*

It's August. Anyone else starting to feel the raw NaNoWriMo joy pumping through their veins? Because I really, really am!!! I don't have any firm ideas yet, but I am damn excited which should count for something. I can't wait for November to get here so I can plunge myself into 50,000 words of flying-spaghetti-monster-only-knows-what.

I'm trying to clean and I realize it's like a library exploded in my bedroom. Books everywhere. There are other things, too, but like...books. I think they shacked up and had book babies when I wasn't looking.

But hey! I got myself a library card and now I can borrow books instead of buying them, and perhaps this will prevent another book-splosion from happening.
