Unearth a Story Teen Escape Room: Trapped in the Jurassic Era
Wednesday, July 15th at 5:30pm
We had a great virtual field trip back to the Jurassic Era! We explored the terrain, and were able to observe and interact with some of the gentle, herbivorous dinosaurs. We caught a glimpse of T-Rex, and even though it was a virtual visit, we still kept our distance. We are ready to end the virtual visit, and return to school, but something is jammed and we are stuck, virtually that is. While we are not in danger, we cannot get out of this Jurassic era loop. We need to reprogram and reboot the VR contraption with the correct dino data, and Break out of the Jurassic Period.
Registration is required! Register here.
Unearth a Story Teen Escape Room: Finding Fossils from the Past
Wednesday, August 12th at 5:30pm in the Conference Room
You and your team of geologists have been searching for one of a kind dinosaur fossils in different countries of South America for many months. On your last day, you discovered the fossil of a likely, never-before-seen dinosaur! You have to get this news to the research center back at your Geo-Search Base Camp. You cannot wait to relay this incredibly exciting news! You run to the truck to hurry back to base camp as quickly as you can. You have to drive to the ferry that will get you to the base camp. The last ferry of the day leaves in 45 minutes. You go to open the truck, but you can’t find the keys and the door is locked. Oh no! You see the keys sitting on the front seat. How could this ever happen? Luckily, there is a backup set of keys locked in the file cabinet, but there is a problem there, too. You have to unlock 5 locks before getting into the file cabinet to find the spare keys. Can you get into the file cabinet, get into the truck and onto the ferry in time? Good luck!
