I decided to make my post for today relative to my activities for the day. A couple of months ago, I signed up to become a Ron Paul Delegate. This morning, I’ll be meeting with other delegates to nominate our Candidate to Send to Tampa, Florida. The following clips are to familiarize you with Dr. Paul’s platform if you are not familiar already. There is still a chance to save America and I hope the people are smart enough to take that chance and put a REAL President in the White House. If I had three wishes, Ron Paul as our next President would be one of those wishes. Go to the last 40 minutes (2 nd video)or so, if you want to know why. With Dr. Paul at the helm, we might actually be able to live in peace, at least as far as America is concerned. Check him out. 🙂

Magi was rescued Mid-December of 1990 by my sister, Laura, who purchased him for me for Christmas that year. Her gift was a gift to both Magi and Me, since I honestly think she saved his life and possibly my sanity as the years passed. Magi stayed with Laura until the spring so I could scout around and find somewhere to board him closer to where I lived. In the meantime, Laura continued to nurse him along and bring him back to health. He had gained about 75 – 100 pounds in those few months. One day, I will do a post on the befores, and afters, and fill in a few more durings, shots. This is a ‘in the beginning’ shot.

As time went on, Magi and I became the best of friends and bonded trail partners.
Winter of 1998-99. As you can see, Magi had turned out to be a fine horse. We rode for hours on end, thus the need for all of the gear. I liked to be prepared.
As the years went by, Magi and I started hauling cargo. This is Jacob hopping on board in the summer of 2005. This photo was taken in Halifax County.
Here's another little package I found that needed a lift. Jayden joined Magi and me in 2008 for a ride around the ring. This was his first pony ride. He was terrified. Can you tell?
Of course, Ian couldn't be left out. Here again, the year is 2008. I think Ian was hot, he didn't look too thrilled to be riding, did he?

Okay, I admit it, I don’t have a lot of photos of the sun head on, but I do love to play in the sunshine. This is another of several ‘shadow shots’ I’ve taken over the years. Of course that shadow represents Magi and me on the trail on a sunny day. 🙂

SUNBURN TREATMENT
Bet you never thought of this… New Treatment For Sunburn –
A guy visiting in Hawaii fell asleep on the beach for several hours and got a horrible sunburn, specifically to his upper legs. He went to the hospital, and was promptly admitted after being diagnosed with second-degree burns.
With his skin already starting to blister, and the severe pain he was in, the doctor prescribed continuous intravenous feeding with saline, electrolytes, a sedative, and a Viagra pill every four hours.
The nurse, who was rather astounded, asked, ‘What good will Viagra do for him, Doctor’?
The doctor replied, ‘It won’t do anything for his condition, but it’ll keep the sheets off his legs.’
I know, I’m bad. Tell me you didn’t laugh, though. 🙂

Ok everyone…THESE are among the chicken treats responsible for killing dogs or making them seriously ill. Vets everywhere are now warning everyone to stop giving your dogs these treats. They are slowly shutting down dog’s kidneys and it is because of something they have in them, still as yet UNKNOWN. The fact that they don’t know what the contaminant is, is why the FDA has not pulled these treats from stores. Do not buy ANY treats made in China, as that is where these contaminated, poisonous products are coming from.The FDA has received over 600 complaints on these….other brands are Canyon Creek Ranch and DOGSWELL. Anyone feeding their dog chicken treats needs to look at the package carefully as the words “Made in China” can be very small… do not be fooled by the phrase “An American Company” they are using in large print!
It’s a huge issue…

I am so sorry to litter my blog with political posts, but people need to wake up. All of our Nations are being overtaken by the bankers, huge corporations, pharmaceutical companies. etc. Please take the time to read this, then by all means, share the information with others…..
Obama nominated Dartmouth University president Jim Yong Kim, M.D. to head the United Nations World Bank. Most people think that UN agencies benefit poor people, but this is far from the truth.
The UN World Bank claims to fight poverty in developing nations by financing infrastructure projects. But the UN World Bank is really a tool used to acquire Third World natural resources through conditions on loans that are extremely difficult to repay. The raw resources are then privatized by insider multi-national corporations. The World Bank actually creates more poverty.
