2 . How can I contact an author?

We are unable to give out contact details for our authors, but we are happy to pass on emails sent to our info@orendabooks.co.ukaddress. For publishers wishing to send ARCs to our authors, please contact us for full details. If you are a festival or other organisation wishing to book one of our authors, please contact us at the same address.

3 . Are you taking submissions?

From time to time, we close our submissions to catch up with the backlog. Please check our Submissions page  for the most up-to-date information, and what you’ll need to do.

4 . Do you offer work experience or opportunities for interns?

5 . I’d like an ARC to review one of your books.

You can request a digital review copy HERE. If you work in the media or higher education and would like to request a review copy please email info@orendabooks.co.uk and let us know where your review will appear. If you are a bookstagrammer, blogger or influencer, please email the same address with links to your channels.

6 . How do I join one of your blog tours?

Our blog tours are organised by Anne Cater, and they are now legendary! You’ll need to sign up for alerts when a new tour is being organised, and you can email her on Anne@orendabooks.co.uk for details.

7 . Can you support my charity?

We regularly donate books to libraries, schools, prisons and refugee centres, and can consider offering prizes for some charities. Contact us on info@orendabooks.co.uk with full details of your request. We can also provide giveaways for mainstream media and booksellers.

8 . Can I use an extract from one of your books?

Please send an email to info@orendabooks.co.uk. You will need to include: The title of the book you wish to quote; the total word count of the extracts you wish to use; and, the territories in which your work will be published. Once we have this information, we can let you know what the fee (if any) will be.

9 . How do I order a catalogue?

We’re currently putting together an up-to-date catalogue, which will be available in PDF format to download. If you are a trade customer please see our Sales and Distribution page.

10 . I am a bookseller and would like more help and information.

We LOVE booksellers, and are happy to send ARCs, bookmarks, signed book plates, reading group questions, and anything else you might need. We’re happy to consider higher discounts for slightly larger quantities, and our authors are always keen to chat to book groups, either online or in person. 11 . Can you bring the Orenda Roadshow to my bookshop?

Our now-famous week-long Orenda Roadshow, in which we take around fifteen international authors on tour in the UK (with plans to expand this into Europe and North America in future) is currently on hold because of pandemic restrictions, but we expect to resume the annual tour in early 2022. We have a small waiting list of interested shops and libraries, but please let us know if you’d like to be included. Email info@orendabooks.co.uk.

12 . I live outside the UK. How can I buy your books?

Our books are available worldwide, and if your local bookshop (or online retailer) does not have copies, please let us know and we can follow up. In most cases, they can place an order for immediate delivery. Do pass on details of our international distributors, if necessary. You can order books directly from Orenda Books, and you’ll find delivery costs here.

13 . My book is damaged. How can I get a replacement?

Errors in the manufacturing and e-book conversion process do sometimes happen. If you find a problem with one of our books please return it to the bookstore/reatilers from which it was purchased. If you’ve purchased it from our site, please contact us on info@orendabooks.co.uk.
