Yesterday was a really wonderful day! I went to Supanova and hung out most of the day with
slight_ly, who was nice enough to carry all my random bits and pieces, and deal with my never ending whims for photograph taking. There were some definite downsides yesterday, the fact that we stood collectively for over 3 hours in a line, that I was forced to carry my camera on a tripod all day and have to repeatedly set it up to take photographs, the sun was just never in the right place for me to take nice photos, and my wig was the itchiest most annoying POS of all time.
Despite all that, it was 100% worth it. I usually don't feel much at Supanova. I just go and enjoy the costumes; the last two years I've been lucky to see two of my all time favourite characters being cosplayed really well but I think if I didn't have that luck, Supanova for me would be a total let down. But this year was pretty amazing I think. It helped that I met a lot of my friends there, both my lolita and university friends. So that was definitely a good thing, and then there's the whole I met
Eliza Dushku and got a photo with her!

Electric Alice Competition like I promised Imogen. The socks were constantly falling down, as evident by this photo. My knees evidently aren't knobbly enough to hold them up! If you like the photo/co-ord, then I'd greatly appreciate it if you could like it on facebook! :)
