Success ≠ Money
You can be Successful AND Rich, but you don’t have to be. You can be a success on minimum wage or a failure with billions because success and money are two different things.
I know society acts like they are the same, but they're not. Being rich is having a lot of money.
Success is working hard towards a worthy goal and achieving greatness.
And an overflowing bank account is only one goal. But what about the rest of the goals?
Do you want to do meaningful work and love your job or is the money all that matters? Do you want healthy relationships and contribute to a thriving community or is money all that matters? Do you want to sleep easy every night or is money all that matters? There are many honest, moral, and legal ways to gain money and power, but there are also many ways that aren't.
For example:
- It's impossible to be a successful drug dealer. Cause you're dealing drugs.
- The same way it's impossible to be a successful slave owner, because you own slaves.
They may have a lot of money, power, and fame, but they're not successful.
On the other hand, my parents have been wildly successful without being rich, famous, or powerful. Because they worked hard towards worthy goals and achieved greatness. They immigrated to this great country, raised nine amazing children, and honored God with their actions.
Don't be fooled by the lies of the superficial or materialistic. There is more to life than things. You can live any life you're willing to work tirelessly for. So the real question is "What is your definition of Success?"
