thou shalt have a fishie…

I’m not making very fast progress on the boat, but am happy with how the wierd, forced perspective turned out. the ribs of the boat are two shades of blue in the laidwork, couched together, and the edge is a chunky trailed couching for texture

workshop

•May 20, 2026 • 2 Comments

Join me for a day of medieval stitching!

I’ll be at the Preston Embroidery and Textile Group on Saturday 6th June, where I’ll be teaching a hands-on workshop exploring medieval counted work.

For £50 (all materials included), you can choose your project:
A Bunny with an Axe
A Dragon
Or a brand-new Chicken design created especially for this workshop

We’ll be stitching together from 10:00–15:30 at:
St Andrew’s C of E Church Hall, 240 Tulketh Road (off Blackpool Road), Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston, PR2 1ES

Whether you’re inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry or just fancy trying something a little different, I’d love to see you there.
