Open Call: Share Your Content on OpenMethods!
Dear Digital Arts and Humanities community,
We hope you had a restful and inspiring summer! As we dive into a new academic season, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the past year’s achievements. Have you come across some interesting content or methodology on Digital Arts and Humanities you would like to share? Have you published exciting content or contributed to inspiring venues? If so, we warmly invite you to share those contents and accomplishments with the wider Digital Humanities community through OpenMethods.
Why Contribute to OpenMethods?
As we gear up to publish new content, we’re inviting you to be part of it! If you’ve already published insightful work on Digital Humanities methods or tools, OpenMethods offers the perfect platform to give it greater visibility. By contributing to our metablog, you help amplify open access research and connect with a broader community of practitioners and scholars.
How to Contribute
If you’re already an OpenMethods Volunteer, simply log in to your account and start drafting your post.
New to OpenMethods? No problem! You can still submit a contribution by following the instructions here: https://openmethods.dariah.eu/submit-a-content/
All proposals will be reviewed by our Editorial Team and scheduled for publication in the coming months.
What We’re Looking For
OpenMethods highlights Digital Humanities methods and tools already published on various sites. All selected content has to be:
- already published elsewhere.
- Open Access content/data.
Content can consist of blog posts, reports, presentations, working papers, data papers, articles, book chapters, video or podcasts. It is not a problem if it is already highlighted on another platform. Content with persistent identifiers (uri, handle, doi) are of course more than welcome.
We do not:
- list database sites
- publish original contributions on OpenMethods.
Let’s make OpenMethods an even richer resource together. We look forward to reading your submissions and sharing them with the global DH community!
Looking forward to your contribution,
The OpenMethods Editorial Team
