The app installs directly on your PC and connects to dozens of external services to create a digital brain or exclusive memory tree that centralizes, summarizes, and contextualizes all your daily emails, documents, and chats.

Data integration and centralization

The tool offers all kinds of connections with preconfigured apps that allow you to link your Gmail, GitHub, Slack, Notion, and many other platform accounts with a single click. Once connected, the system will perform a periodic synchronization every twenty minutes to extract the most recent content from your communication channels, normalizing it into a standard Markdown format that facilitates subsequent processing without the need for you to manually export or copy the information.

Persistent memory

Unlike conventional chatbots that forget the conversation when you close the window, the memory in this program is persistent and constantly evolving. All the information you give it is compressed, fragmented, and stored in a local SQLite database and in text files, generating a knowledge tree that relates entities and concepts. The most interesting part is that this memory repository is fully compatible with the format used by Obsidian. Meeting assistant and voice control

Privacy

The long-term memory, compressed history, and voice recordings are all securely stored in your device's internal storage. My experience with OpenHuman

After installing the tool, I went about linking the services I use, including Gmail and GitHub. In just half an hour, the system had already indexed the conversations from my latest projects, and I asked it, via the microphone, to give me a summary of the pending tasks for this week. It instantly responded with a very precise prioritized list. The next day, I invited it to a work meeting on Google Meet. It remained silent for the first half hour taking notes and, at the end, generated a detailed set of minutes for me directly in Obsidian, which I was able to edit later myself to add a couple of details.

What I liked most about OpenHuman and what could be improved
