Are there any buzz words or catch-phrases--such as incentivize or at the end of the day--that make you cringe? What are they, and why do you hate them?
To be quite honest, most Yorkshire slang irritates me. Also the complete lack of grammar. Things like "I'll give i' ya", and "I can do". It hurts. Also things like "Did you have any joy" in place of "Did you find it?".
Hi there, Just a quick query about flights on the British airline BMIBaby - does anyone know if you can advance book luggage for only one-way on a return flight? I'm going to France for a weekend but most of my luggage will already be there when I arrive, but I have to bring it back myself and I don't really want to pay for luggage space on the flight to France that I'm not going to be using.
My partner and I are trying to go to Munich for their Christmas Market (thanks to those who made suggestions!). We're looking at flying Aer Lingus from London Gatwick, but the cheapest flight leaves at 6:02am, which (you may have guessed) is really early... I was just wondering if anyone has flown Aer Lingus before, and how early we should be at the airport? We're living at Sheffield so I'm just trying to sort out logistics and whether or not we should go in the night before or if its even worth it if we have to be at the Airport at 4am...
For reference the Aer Lingus suggets that UK to Continental Europe flights should check in 2.5h beforehand but their check in desks only open 2.5h beforehand... would an hour and a quarter be enough time if we checked-in online?
