Open eCard App 2.1

Open eCard App is a standards-based eID client that lets you use your electronic ID card or compatible smart card to securely identify yourself online and access supported eGovernment and eBusiness services. Developed by ecsec GmbH, the app is built on open standards and open-source components to ensure transparency and interoperability.

Using an NFC-enabled smartphone or an external smart card reader, the app guides you through clear, step-by-step authentication flows. It is designed with privacy in mind and exchanges only the information required by the service you select.
