OMAX Intelli-MAX® Software is OMAX Corporation’s integrated CAD/CAM and machine control suite for abrasive waterjet machining. It streamlines the entire workflow—from drawing to finished part—by converting 2D designs into optimized waterjet toolpaths and running them directly on OMAX JetMachining Centers. The suite includes intuitive design and layout tools, robust import for common CAD formats (such as DXF and DWG), image tracing, nesting, tabs and lead-ins, and cut-path simulation with time and cost estimates. Built-in material cutting models and quality settings help deliver accurate, repeatable results with minimal setup and trial and error.

On the machine, Intelli-MAX provides real-time control, job queuing, and on-the-fly adjustments. Advanced motion control and taper-compensation capabilities—compatible with options like A-JET and Tilt-A-Jet—enable precise edges, tight tolerances, and efficient cutting of complex geometries. Features such as common-line cutting, optimized pierce selection, and micro-feature strategies help improve throughput and extend consumable life.
