Museum Sønderjylland – Arkæologi Haderslev ; (Museum Sønderjylland - Archaeology Haderselev) has for more than 125 years, conducted archaeological excavations in Southern Jutland. Through numerous excavations; totaling over 50 in some years, the museum has researched every conceivable type of historical site, from the late ice age to the 18th century. The museum’s mobile app focuses on archaeological sites of Southern Jutland and selected excavations. The app has been named “ A Glimpse of Prehistory – 52 stories from the soil of Southern Jutland”, and was created to commemorate the museum’s 125th anniversary in 2012.
The mobile app is available on the homepage www.oldtidsglimt.dk
The app features:
● See each historical site on a map of Southern Jutland
● Access navigation and route descriptions
● Read the many stories and receive regular updates
● See an overview of all of the lectures which are held near selected historical sites
● Receive a reminder of each lecture in your mobile’s calendar application
