Oddland

Oddland is a first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world that is made to look and feel like the old wild west from Hollywood movies. Of course, that aesthetic is also populated with some mutants and references to movies like Ghostbusters.

Setting aside, Oddland is a first-person shooter where you have to enter territories controlled by bosses and rival bands of outlaws in order to claim them for yourself. Of course, the only way to do that is to pull out your weapon and go in shooting.

The game's controls are pretty odd, since you'll have to move your character using a virtual joystick while aiming with your Android's accelerometer. In other words, you have to tilt your device from side to side to take aim at your enemies. It takes some getting used to, but in the end it's an effective way to play.

In addition to campaign mode, in which you can try to recover the 25 territories that make up the Oddland map, you'll have access to a full-featured online mode. In multiplayer, you can face off against other cowboys from around the world in intense battles over the Internet.

Oddland is a FPS that has it all: minigames, online mode, a long campaign, thoughtful design... everything that is needed to make an outstanding game.
