While not copying originals, some of the features were taken to a better point. Continuous blendable multimode filter (HP-Notch(BP)-HP in 12 dB mode and 4-1 pole in 24 dB mode). VAM button is last played note allocation mode. 32 and 64 bit versions included.

Fantastic, and very close to the original sounds. Portamento is still the hardest to emulate as far as the speed and length of the sweep, but what a great plug in!
Does anyone know where to put patches in Windows? What is the directory path where the plugin reads presets?
I put them in \discoDSP\OB-Xd\Banks\
And the skins are in \discoDSP\OB-Xd\Skins\
(each skin in its respective subfolder of course)
That way you just have to do a right-click with your mouse on an empty room of the panel to change your banks or to change your skins.
A part of my previous reply has been removed in the paths of the directories. So:
I put them in (documents)\discoDSP\OB-Xd\Banks\
And the skins are in (documents)\discoDSP\OB-Xd\Skins\
(each skin in its respective subfolder of course)
That way you just have to do a right-click with your mouse on an empty room of the panel to change your banks or to change your skins.
There is even a FAQ page on the website which will help answer any normal inquiries.
Is it possible to save presets ? What the difference is between the free one and the paid one ? Thanks, i’ ll be happy to pay for this one is saving presets are possible.

OBXD is so good. I would love it if the original developer would make an ARP Odyssey emulation or an ARP 2600 emulation. Beside an OBXD update of course.

Obxd is a truly marvelous synth. It has a very organic, hardware-like sound. I hope there will be more updates for it and more new synths from You. ❤ 😉

I downloaded and installed obxd-lv2_20210315_amd64.deb.
It’s so great but I can not let OBXD load the presets, .fxb or .fxp because it seems it doesn’t have the menu for that.
I hope you consider about this for the next update.

Just came by to say thank you for this wonderful instrument!
The first synth that I loaded when I moved to NixOS! Installed with the awesome Nixpkgs DISTRHO collection of plugins.
Used Sonic Projects OPX for many years, it actually convinced me many years ago to sell my hardware Oberheim OBX board.
This is on par sound quality wise. With some of it’s own unique features. Great sets of banks available for the plugin too, both LV2 and VST.
