David Cote is a critic and reporter who has written for Observer, 4 Columns and, occasionally, American Theatre. He is also a playwright and opera librettist whose work has been produced in London and around the US. In his past life as an actor, he worked with Richard Foreman, Richard Maxwell and Iranian exile auteur Assurbanipal Babilla.
