Headlines: Our headlines must accurately reflect the content of the story. We strictly avoid “clickbait” or misleading titles that distort the facts.
2. Fact-Checking Policy We employ a multi-level fact-checking process:
Writer Review: The author is responsible for the initial verification of all names, dates, and facts.
Editorial Review: A sub-editor or senior editor reviews the content for bias, holes in the story, and factual errors.
Sensitive Topics: Stories involving crime, legal matters, or sensitive social issues require final approval from the Editor-in-Chief (Satyendra Singh) or Managing Editor (Mrinalini Sharma).
3. Corrections Policy We believe in accountability. If we make a mistake, we admit it and fix it immediately.
How to Report an Error: Readers can report factual errors by emailing contact@nwnews24.com with the subject line “Correction Request.”
Correction Format: When a significant error is fixed, we will add a “Correction” note at the bottom of the article, stating exactly what was changed and when.
