Postgraduate Qualification Program Proposal

Postgraduate Qualification Program Proposal

At the National University of Science and Technology, the primary aim of its postgraduate qualification program (PQP) is to increase a student’s overall English proficiency level from an IELTS equivalence of 5.0 and 5.5 to 6.0. Additionally, the program intends to prepare students with the transferable study skills needed to meet the rigorous academic demands of their postgraduate studies. Keeping in line with industry standard practice, the program focuses on a part-time evening delivery method over a period of 20 weeks maximum. Upon successful course completion and being awarded a PQP certificate, a student would have achieved the appropriate English language requirement for admission for their desired international postgraduate program.
