Notgeld of the month – This interesting piece had an original face value of 20 Mark. It originally dated from 1918 and was issued in Quedlinburg. Due to the hyper-inflation that hit the German economy, it has subsequently been revalued / overprinted (OVP) to 2 Millionen Mark in 1923. These revalued (OVP) pieces are very interesting and make a wonderful collection in themselves :
