Review Arena of Valor game on GAMEHOY.COM
Keep getting dropped from games with no credit given. Multiple people complaining about it in chat so not just me. Incredibly stingy with in game currency. Looks like it will take a week to buy my first hero and that's with all the beginner bonuses. Sure the game gives you a few free heros but none of them are good. 2 stars because the game play is fun. Also the only way to link your account is through Facebook. So won't be spending any money on the game in case I lose my account.
Good gameplay but sometimes it lags too much between my client and the server. Also the in game censor ship is too harsh, makes it seem like I'm cussing and being mad when I'm just trying to make a joke. Also the MVP system makes no sense. Someone can quit and go afk, but still get rewarded the MVP. Maybe because of the emphasis on the kda instead of playmaking. I'm not sure, like I said it doesn't make sense. Other than that it's a solid game. Worth trying out if you're a MOBA fan.
It's horrible, the matches aren't fair, the heroes aren't balanced, the lag is always present, the report system doesn't work. Also, the Codex isn't worth it unless you buy it. AoV should put more rewards on it if they want people to enjoy it. Also, players are EXTREMELY toxic. There used to be a lot of events and rewards before, now AoV is not putting effort on this game and the only event you have is lucky spin with some rewards you'll never get... Please AoV, put more effort on this game...
For the last several days every time I have gone to join a match I have had to completely close and reopen the app because for some reason it will not load into the match. and every time I have to do this I lose out on any reward I would get and I'm possibly penalized as well. I am very tired of this occurrence and do not believe I will be playing the game with longer Unfortunately. it is a great game however this issue is outweighing the good.
Pleasantly surprised. Have been looking for a mobile game while on holidays to scratch that gaming itch while away from the PC. I'm new to this particular genre (5v5) but it seems similar to MMOs like WoW in the sense that different characters have different specialties which suits them to particular roles. I haven't hit a paywall yet though microtransactions do exist (of course). Worth a shot.
This is one the best mobile mobas, but there are several problems holding it back from being perfect. The first is hero balance some heroes are way too strong and others are too weak; while others are out class completely by other heroes of the same type and others have no niche in way they fill their roles. Next is the arcana system it makes it unfair because everyone arcana is leveled to vering degree and it cost finite in game resource. Finally matching making can be problematic at times.
