hi friend!
I am so happy you're here...
My name is Morgan and I am the creator of Nomaste Hungry. This blog was born in 2018, coming home from a Europe trip with my husband. I've always wanted a space to capture a variety of different recipes, restaurant reviews, and so Nomaste Hungry was born. This particular trip ignited my love for cuisine and hammered home the need to channel my writing into recipe development and "foodie" content. Food was always something that brought happiness to my heart, and continues to do so.
My Philosophy
When you're gathered with your people, you're in the greatest company, and when it's with a solid meal, there's no comparison. Sunday morning breakfast of bagels, cream cheese, and a box of Dunkin Donuts. Family dinners of homemade chicken scampi, pizza nights, or traditional family holiday recipes like fried potato latkes. Lots of the recipes here are inspiration from family recipes, flavors and ideas that swim in my mind, and inspiration from colleague bloggers. I guarantee you'll find plenty of options here on Nomaste Hungry for all different diets and needs.

Why this blog?
Every time you choose to visit and make a recipe on the Internet, you make a decision: whether or not the person creating the recipe is trustworthy, and I'm here to tell you exactly why you should trust nomastehungry.com for all of your recipe needs.

About Nomaste Hungry
Nomaste Hungry is a play on words -"stay hungry" is essentially the meaning and mission behind what I do on nomastehungry.com. My last name, Peaceman, also connecting to the name of the website, given that I try to stay as grounded and grateful in all aspects of my life. Of course, part of that has a great deal to do with the types of recipes I provide here. I'm grateful to have my husband as my 'creative director' and my two little sous chefs as the official taste testers. I love making recipes, and sharing them with all of you!
Why make my recipes?
This blog is dedicated to providing families recipes that are quick, easy, and help solve that age ol' question of "what's for dinner?
With my experience working in bakeries, delis, restaurants, being a self-taught baker, and having years of experience with cooking for others in my own kitchen, I've learned a thing or two about navigating the kitchen and what meals mean the most to my family. Trusting me means you'll find ample recipes that are:
- freezer friendly
- meal-prep forward
- under 30 minutes
- leftover friendly
