Nokia Device Status is a diagnostic tool that lets you generate a report with detailed data on your mobile phone and S60 module synchronization for Windows PC Suite. There are two downloads – for PC (.exe file) and for smart phone (.sis file). The program for PC is a “source” for .sis file to install it on the phone. Besides, PC version is more functional, than the phone’s one. And you should keep in mind that PC version won’t read smart phone’s setting data without corresponding version on the phone. Moreover, you should have PC Suite 6.84 or later installed, otherwise this program won’t start.
Device Status collect information from both PC and smart phone. There are four options with information about smart phone: Summary, Settings info, Application info and Network info. You can find out the operating system on your mobile phone, the exact model terminal, their IMEI code, the internal memory and expansion cards available, profiles and topics installed or the size of storage folders on your phone mobile. The disadvantage is obvious - you can look data through, but you can’t mark and copy it. Also, you can get the following information about the PC: operating system, language of the system, version of installed Nokia PC Suite, list of drivers to PC connection, system’s time and date, logs of PC Suite.
