Noharm is a program designed for fitting both unidimensional and multidimensional normal ogive models of latent trait theory. The program computes and prints out the residual covariances of the items, after fitting the model, and gives the root mean square of these as an overall measure of misfit of the model to the data, with the given number of dimensions and the given pattern of the coefficient matrix.
