How
it Works

From application to landing your dream job - we got you covered. Your success is our best interest.

Apply & Get Accepted

Our bootcamps are not for everyone. It's a full time commitment that requires high levels of motivation and grit. The first step is a short digital meeting to make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into. The last step is a technical interview (not as frightening, as it sounds 😰).

Finish Prep Work

Once admitted to the bootcamp, you’ll complete some preparatory material to ensure everyone’s on the same page when starting the bootcamp. If you've never written code before, the prep work will take 40 hours to finish.

A Day at The Bootcamp

We start the day with an interactive coding lecture followed by lab work where you'll work on real-world exercises to reinforce the concepts from the lecture. The bootcamp runs from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Building Your Portfolio

Our project-based approach to learning focuses on building products and services with value, not just learning to code. You'll build a portfolio of projects during the bootcamp to showcase to future employers. Ultimately, it's the portfolio that will get you the job. It's the evidence proving your skills and experience.

Social Events

We know that a socially connected bootcamp creates the best learning experience. Expect to get to know your fellow students well. During the bootcamp we’ll host teambuilding, after-works, keynote speakers from the industry and our alumni network.

Get Hired

The bootcamp is designed to equip you with the skills to pass a technical interview. This is the entry ticket to your first job in tech. We’ll prepare you for all the steps in the job application process as well as optimizing your LinkedIn and Resumé.

Meet Your Instructors

We love to help and see our students grow and learn.

Axel has 6 years of experience teaching Python and Machine Learning in a bootcamp setting. Before Nod, he worked as a Data Analyst and holds a Master’s Degree in Business & Economics.

    FAQs

Find answers to common questions about our coding bootcamp, courses, admissions, and more.

What kind of support can I expect as a student at Nod?

We are here to support you all the way, we know how to turn beginners into proficient programmers as quickly as possible. We’ll support you when you struggle and push you when you’re comfortable ;)

How skilled will I be upon graduating from Nod?

You can expect to be skilled enough to pass a technical interview and land a job in tech. More importantly, you will have the skills to quickly learn and apply new programming concepts on your own.

How does the admissions process work?

    1. Apply with the form on this site. 2. We contact you to schedule a short digital meeting . 3. At the meeting, we’ll assess if you’ve got the right motivation for the bootcamp. You’ll also get to ask any questions about the bootcamp. 4. Technical interview takes place (you will get access to study material to be prepped, don’t worry). 5. Sign our Student Agreement and pay the registration fee to officially secure your seat.

How much programming experience do I need to be accepted to the bootcamp?

No prior programming experience is required. However, many of our students have taken a programming course in university or dabble with Python on Codecademy or Udemy. Having previous experience definitely helps, but it’s not mandatory. Completing the prep work ensures everyone is on a similar level when we start.

What is the maximum number of students per cohort?

No more than 12 students to give you the best possible learning experience. If small classes, you are more likely to engage with the material, ask questions, and express your thoughts. You will also feel more accountable for your participation and performance, making you put in that extra effort to do your best. As for us instructors, we can interact more personally with you and provide tailored feedback.

Does Nod guarantee that I’ll find a job?

No, but we have an 87% hiring rate. Pivoting careers is tough and requires a lot of effort on your part. We will provide you with the technical skills to ace the interview and extensive career support to make you stand out online.

What jobs do your alumni land after the bootcamp?

Data Analyst, Data Science and Data Engineer positions are the most common.

    What financing options are there?

Typically, you’d pay the tuition fee via bank transfer (or Swish if you’re Swedish). We also accept Bitcoin and PayPal, but you pay for the transaction fee using these options. The tuition is paid 10 days before the bootcamp starts and in some cases, we have agreed on a split payment.

Will I get a certificate when graduating from Nod?

Upon completion, you’ll get an impressive blockchain certificate. But we are more about ensuring you acquire the hands-on skills to pass technical interviews and excel in a Data Analyst or Data Scientist role.
