Not only are there some huge titles launching in 2025, like Monster Hunter Wilds, Fable, and Ghost of Yotei, there’s also likely going to be a new Switch console!There’s so much to be excited for this year and Max is going to go over some of the biggest games coming in 2025.

1 jaar, 6 maanden - Xbox ended the year extremely strong, dropping three exclusive bangers in a row: STALKER 2, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and my personal vote for Game of the Year in 2024 and the game that I think is the best Xbox exclusive in years, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. So, can Microsoft keep that positive momentum going into 2025? Xbox games in 2025 could be the strongest and most bountiful since at least 2021, when it dropped Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, and Psychonauts 2. Let’s dig into why I’m optimistic…

1 jaar, 7 maanden - In today's Daily Fix: Xbox's Phil Spencer isn't sold on making a mid-generation "pro" version of the Xbox Series X. Speaking with Rolling Stone, he doesn't think the upgrades would be worth it, especially for the price you'd pay. Currently the PS5 Pro is the most powerful gaming console available, but you're paying an eye-watering $700 for it. However, Xbox is working on a handheld, but Spencer also said to not expect one of those for a few years. In other news, Blizzard is staffing up for what appears to be an open-world shooter that could be set in the StarCraft universe. If you're old enough to remember, this isn't the first StarCraft shooter Blizzard has attempted: StarCraft Ghost was stuck in development hell and then eventually cancelled back in the PS2/GameCube era. And finally, Obsidian's highly-anticipated RPG, Avowed, can be purchased for the low low price of around 5 World of Warcraft tokens. Each token is worth about 1.3 million in in-game gold, so the base version of Avowed will set you back 6.5 million gold.

1 jaar, 10 maanden - Game developer Krafton has confirmed inZOI will be releasing on the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles eventually. This confirmation comes after the recent success of fans jumping into the free inZOI character creator demo on Steam. The devs confirmed it’ll be releasing on PC, with an expected release date later on for Xbox and PS5. There’s currently no release date for the life sim, but it’s expected to see a full release on PC later this year, with console versions likely coming out in 2025 - possibly after any bugs get worked out on PC. There are a select few who have early PC builds of the game, so you can probably find a few content creators streaming their inZOI experience. With this news, EA is probably gonna have to go back to the drawing board with whatever their planning for the next Sims game - because with #inZOI hitting the market, those who’ve been playing The Sims 4 for almost a decade now will likely be lured away to the more superior and advanced gameplay in inZOI.
