About NJSPN

The New Jersey STEM Pathways Network, a strategic public-private alliance, was established in 2014 by the New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education to define and guide a STEM vision for cradle to career pathways in New Jersey. The NJSPN is managed by the Research & Development Council of New Jersey.

The NJSPN aims to attract, cultivate and retain a 21st century workforce in New Jersey, ensuring the state remains a top global competitor in STEM industry and continues its rich history of innovation.

About the STEM Learning Ecosystem Model

The New Jersey STEM Ecosystems initiative is modeled after the STEM Funders Network STEM Learning Ecosystems Initiative, which promotes the cultivation of STEM Learning Ecosystems in communities throughout the world. The worldwide STEM Learning Ecosystems contribute to the larger STEM education and learning landscape.

Each of the 111 worldwide ecosystems participate in a Community of Practice, or a national and regional peer-to-peer professional learning network for communities to share information and expertise. More information about the STEM Funders Network and its ecosystems can be found at www.stemecosystems.org.
