This volume contains several key lectures we reference during the program. Hillman’s reflections on alchemy, psyche, and imagination deepen our understanding of transformation and symbolic process in chart work.

James Hillman
A collection of Hillman’s essays and writings, many of which we quote or draw from in lectures throughout the year.
This book gives you direct exposure to Hillman’s voice and thought. It’s an accessible way into archetypal psychology and supports the symbolic, imaginal orientation we cultivate in counseling work.
For the Time Being: Essays
Annie Dillard
We read one of Dillard’s essays together during the year. Her reflections on time, perception, and spiritual awareness offer a contemplative backdrop for counseling-oriented astrology.
