Nichelle Laus

Nichelle Laus is a former police officer with over 15 years of experience in law enforcement.  A former amateur boxer and kickboxer, she combines real-world policing experience with hands-on combat training to teach practical, effective self-defense.

Nichelle is a speaker, coach, and educator dedicated to empowering women with the confidence, awareness, and skills to protect themselves.

Dave laus

Dave Laus is a former police officer with extensive experience in law enforcement and tactical operations. Throughout his career, he specialized in high-risk situations, developing a strong foundation in situational awareness, control tactics, and public safety. Dave is also a certified SHARP (Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention) instructor and is passionate about empowering others with practical, real-world self-defense skills.

If you’re looking for a way to build courage and confidence in your group, there’s no better way than hosting your very own Self-Defense Workshop. Based on your group, each workshop can include:

Typically 3 interactive hours of learning

We also can go mobile (within the GTA) for our group packages.

Corporate packages are available.

We provide equipment such as hitting pads that we practice our strikes on, and usually ask that the women be prepared to work in partners and have some water available.

We can also offer a board breaking exercises at the end of the workshop which symbolizes "breaking through personal barriers or fears". It's so empowering and a great way to end the workshop!
