FREE RMV Driving Tests Online
The Newbury Town Library has partnered with driving-tests.org to provide patrons with free, ad-free, and registration-free Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) practice tests for car, motorcycle, and commercial vehicle licenses. Perfect for the learner’s permit test, driver’s license test, and refresher test for seniors.
7 NEW Magazines for 2020!
Even though everything may seem to be going digital, we think it’s still enjoyable to flip through a magazine in print. For 2020, we’ve added 7 NEW magazine subscriptions to our regular offerings. Look for these titles in the library or in the catalog in January!
The Librarians @ The Screening Room

Filled with colorful artwork, Maddi’s Fridge by Lois Brandt addresses issues of poverty with honesty and sensitivity while instilling important lessons in friendship, empathy, trust, and helping others. NTL Cookbook Club
In 2025, Newbury Town Library started a cookbook club! We meet for a potluck on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6pm in the Lois M Anderson Community Room. Join us as we each share a dish from that month’s featured cookbook! Up next: What to Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking by Caroline Chambers on January 28th!

Please make sure to bring any passwords you need, charging cables and the device you need assistance with.

Our community is so generous and caring! In December 2025, we collected 300 hats and mittens/gloves for the Pettengill House. Thank you to everyone who donated! Many neighbors in need will be warmer this season thanks to our amazing community.
