Deepankar Shyam is the Deputy Editor at Apparel Resources and carries a rich experience of more than two decades in the realm of media and communication. Starting his career as a rookie reporter with The Shillong Times, the oldest English news daily of North East India, he has moved up the ranks to work with some of the leading regional and national dailies, global publication houses and television channels in various roles including as a writer and editor for names such as Blitz Publication (Cine Blitz), The Asian Age, Ahlan Masala, A&S India, North East Television and many more. Known for silently putting his thoughts into words, what makes Deepankar stand out among the writers and editors, is his expertise in Public Relations and Corporate Communications. Having worked with some of the big corporate houses, non-governmental bodies, renowned advertising agencies and event management companies, Deepankar finds his true calling in writing and is currently looking after the Bangladesh edition of Apparel Online magazine.
