This deck went undefeated, 3-0-1 in London Districts. It's a fork of the fancy KK Stealth Az I built, except I took out all the bad cards. I've been playing with 1 Sell Out over NFL but I was a coward and feared Unleash decks (I shouldn't have been, NFL was a brick the whole tournament).
So, Az? Vic to me is overrated, DreamNET is strong and it's probably better in a vacuum, but I really don't like being forced to mull for it and giving up a lot of your early t1-3 threats against decks capable of winning in 7 turns. And for decks going longer, well they're gonna make value running hell for you. I love Zahya, but she only gets a few credits early game and a ton of money lategame when she gets to make big multiaccess digs - but I found once the rig is down money is not much of a problem. Getting 9c guaranteed is better to me than getting 3c in the first 5 turns and then like 10c in the last few. Baz is probably fine but not really reg Crim. So, Az!
Don't overthink the Az trigger too hard, if you have to double or triple install cards that trigger Az just do it. Spacing installs a little bit is fine. Boomerangs are half price and you'd be surprised how much more playable that makes them - I was already up on Boomerang this format and being able to use them liberally feels real nice.
As for piloting advice... I mean, it's reg Crim. Mull for draw and drip, do not keep hands with lots of run events because they're bad right now. Only facecheck if you want to force Corp money or are sure the facecheck won't hurt - instead, try to look for Boomerang or breakers. Take off turns if you have to, unlike Vic, this deck is very very happy to take off turns. And trust your endgame. Baker Twinning forks the Corp's money and is a helluva endgame. A lot of my wins go to t10+. Do whatever it takes to long the game out.
Good matchups - Melies U (yes, I built the deck for this matchup, trust me), LEO, reg PD, Ob (get killer down quickly and use Boomerang to respect program destruction).
Bad matchups - FLOOD THE MARKET FUUUU- (seriously this matchup is impossible)
Thanks to the SCRUBS and asa grief for enduring my endless Crim dooming and to Feathermark for running an awesome tournament as always!
matchup breakdown:
Melies U - draw - This one I brick on my WHOLE rig early and then my opponent bricks on money and no agendas to jam so we end up tying 2-2, no idea who'd win this.
Ob - this one goes as bad as possible - lose 3 of my 6 breakers, lose my Twinning the turn I install it to Above the Law, 2 ice on HQ so WAKE is dead... but honest singles, good reads on the agendas and making the Corp extra poor gets me to Baker and lets me close before the Corp can take advantage of it all.
Melies U - I've actually ran into this player and their list on Jnet randoms multiple times, so we both know what's in the others' deck. They're a more rush list with damage cards, so I have to play more carefully to not kill myself but the remote is weak. I manage to force a Mitra to change Bran into Semak (HUGE WIN) and he gets so poor that I lock R&D and even after last click Byte! trashing my Twinning floating the tag the game is under lock and key.
Ob - This one is unfortunate for my opponent; they're flooded but have money and Measured Response, so they decide to pitch a Basalt. Run Archives for value, Hermes bounce HQ, 2 Transfers hit the 2nd Basalt and the Measured Response. Then next turn I find the last agenda on a single, game ends after I've taken 13 clicks.
