This card is, verbatim, 30yo:
[$0] Node [-$0]: Ambush
(Corporation uncommon)
If you pay [4] when Runner accesses TRAP!, it does 3 Net damage and gives Runner a tag, even if TRAP! is not installed. Ignore this effect if Runner accesses it from the Archives. If TRAP! is accessed from R&D;, Runner must show it to you.
≡
[$0] Asset [-$0]: Ambush
(Jinteki 2/5)
If Snare! is accessed from R&D, the Runner must reveal it.
If you pay 4[$] when the Runner accesses Snare!, do 3 net damage and give the Runner 1 tag. Ignore this effect if the Runner accesses Snare! from Archives.
≡
[$0] Asset [-$0]: Ambush
(Jinteki 2/5)
While the Runner is accessing this asset in R&D, they must reveal it.
When the Runner accesses this asset anywhere except in Archives, you may pay 4[$]. If you do, give the Runner 1 tag and do 3 net damage.
[EDIT] 2×Byte! got 2nd @ Worlds (2025). As @Kikai says:
I am not, by inclination, a Byte! gamer. However, in this list, it is simply amazing. Combined with False Lead, the warping effect that Byte! has on the ability of the runner to safely interact with us is huge. It forces the runner to make uncomfortable decisions, which is what leads players to make mistakes, which is how we are able to win games that we would otherwise have no chance to win.
Having a Byte! in HQ means that we are safe to hold agendas in hand--particularly Fujii Asset Retrieval--because if the Runner sweeps then they potentially lose the game. This is especially true if the ICE on HQ is Phoneutria (which is where that ICE naturally wants to go) or Anemone.

Plan Z - Table Byte!: Put the Byte! on the table, either sell it as an agenda (with an unrezzed Phật Gioan Baotixita) or as a Moon Pool (with a table agenda) and hope that the runner runs it last click. This is useful if the Runner has a critical mass of tech cards and no other out is available to us.

Everyone apart from me cut a Phoneutria to play a 2nd Byte!. Their rationale was that they would rather pay 4 to fire a Byte! than to rez a Phoneutria. My rationale is that I would rather see a piece of ICE in my opening hand.
I'm glad Snare was reprinted exactly.
