Nero Vision Express is a Windows-based video editing and disc authoring application developed by Ahead Software AG, the company behind the Nero suite. Designed for home users, it streamlines the process of turning video clips and photos into polished movies and slide shows, complete with titles, transitions, background music, and chapter markers. You can capture footage from DV camcorders, webcams, and compatible analog devices, edit on a storyboard or timeline, and author interactive menus using built-in templates. The software encodes to common formats such as MPEG-1 and MPEG-2, supports both PAL and NTSC standards, and integrates with the Nero burning engine to create DVD-Video, VCD, and SVCD discs in a single, guided workflow. Optional plug-ins expand codec support for additional output formats.
