English Access Scholarship Program 2024-2026
The English Access Scholarship Program (The Access), funded by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA)/Regional English Language Office, U.S. Embassy Kathmandu, is being implemented by the Nepal English Language Teachers' Association (NELTA) for the year 2024-2026 in five locations: Lalitpur, Palpa, Saptari, Sindhuli, and Udayapur. At present, 200 young students from community schools have been engaging in this program for enhancing their English language proficiency, enhancement skills, communication skills and 21st century skills. 20 Access Teachers and 5 Focal Persons have been playing crucial roles for the successful implementation of this program in five locations. The English Access Scholarship Program is being implemented in 5 locations across Nepal in the year 2025-2026. 1. Lalitpur Access Center: Tika Vidhyashram Secondary School, Sanepa 2. Palpa Access Center: Janata Secondary School, Tansen 3. Saptari Access Center: Shree Public Bindeswari Secondary School, Rajbiraj 4. Sindhuli Access Center: Siddhajyoti Education Campus, Phrosetar 5. Udayapur Access Center: Triyuga Model Secondary School, Gaighat
