Oh, Delicious! What have your new owners done to you? They've made you look all ugly and took away some of your most useful features (like tag bundles). How the hell am I supposed to use you if I can't even look through my tags?

Also, tags with a "/" symbol in them don't seem to work anymore. This is especially annoying since I mainly use Delicious for fic recs. Ugh. >:|

I now hope more than ever that a fandom-friendly Delicious clone is gonna get made. Otherwise I might have to start looking into other options, and none that I've found so far are as good as the old Delicious. /sigh

ETA: In case anyone cares, I've now migrated over to both Diigo and Pinboard. I'm not sure if I'm even going to bother continue updating my Delicious account since it is pretty much completely useless right now.

I watched the pilots for Ringer and The Secret Circle last week, and I wasn't that impressed by either of them. I found Ringer mostly boring (plus I'm not the biggest SMG fan, even though I did like Buffy), and the only thing I really enjoyed about TSC was Gale Harold's character. I'm gonna give both shows a few more episodes, though, because I know from experience that you can't judge a show by its pilot. I mean, I didn't like The Vampire Diaries at first either, and now it's one of my favourite shows.

I just found this handy piece of information:

If you want to look for all posts made by a certain person in a LJ community, all you have to do is add /?poster=NAME_OF_POSTER at the end of the URL and it filters out all the posts for you. How cool is that?

So, if I wanted to find all posts made by me, I'd just add /?poster=nelisce. I'm pretty sure I'm the last person on earth to find out you could do that, but whatever. You have NO IDEA how many times I could have used something like this in the past, so I wanted to share in case anyone else finds it useful.

Richard Madden (aka Robb Stark on Game of Thrones) is going to star in the new show Sirens, a comedy-drama about a team of world-weary paramedics forever forced to deal with humanity at its stupidest. The show is supposed to start airing at the end of June on Channel 4.

Richard Madden is Ashley. Young, handsome, and a bit of a lad, he thinks he has it sussed, knows how to play the game, and always keeps his cards close to his chest. His only problem, as a gay bloke who doesn’t actually like other gay blokes, is that he’s never in the biggest game of them all.

Renly meets the Knight of Flowers.

THIS FIC, OMG.

I simply cannot recommend it highly enough. The writing alone is so flawless it will make you want to weep tears of joy. And both Renly and Loras are completely in character. In fact, I almost felt like I was reading a Renly POV chapter that had been deleted from the books.

You totally don't need to have read the books to enjoy this fic, though. There aren't any spoilers for future events, or anything like that. Actually, this fic is kind of an AU because the boys meet in a different way than they do in the books.

Anyway, if you ship Renly/Loras, please do yourself a favor and READ THIS FIC. (And don't forget to leave feedback afterwards!)

I just watched the first episode of Southland, and I'm loving it already. I've been meaning to watch that show for a while now because everyone's been raving about how great it is, but I'm not usually into cop shows that much so I put it off till now. But man, I'm so glad I finally gave it a chance because not only is it really good, compelling TV, but there are also a ton of actors I love in it. Shawn Hatosy! Ben McKenzie! Kevin Alejandro! Michael Cudlitz!

Plus, non-conventional gay character = YAY!

So basically, I'm going to spend the next few days marathoning the first three seasons and basking in the glory of new-show-love. :D

And speaking of Shawn Hatosy, I watched Borstal Boy for the first time last night, and it totally blew me away. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it!
