Destination Shakespeare Hotel

M is still in Canada/Alaska, but I am going up to Sydney today to meet Max, one of M’s flatmates.

So this entry I will just do part of my customary end of month thing. I won’t even try to compete with my cousin’s son Harrison Cartwright who had 40,000 visits in the past 24 hours for his post on Todd Carney’s “bubbling”. But it does look as if June 2014 will be my best so far on this blog, albeit several thousands fewer than Harrison’s post!

In June 2014 the most visited posts here have been:

The new shopping precinct, due for completion in August-September, is now emerging. Whether it really is a commercial success remains to be seen. Meanwhile the accompanying rebuild of Crown Street Mall is apparently ahead of schedule. I am sure all concerned look forward to not having to negotiate a building site every time we walk the main street.
