A life tuned to analog.
Music is in my blood
As a lifelong admirer of sound, story, and the art of slowing down. Needle & Vine grew out of my love for the analog world. A place where music is tangible, conversation flows, and craft still matters.
I’m not here to teach or review, I’m here to explore. Whether it’s a new pressing on vinyl, a vintage amplifier rescued from the junk heap, or a well-aged bottle shared among friends, this space is about discovery and appreciation.
The Early Years
My love of music started young. In my teenage and early adult years, I spent weekends behind turntables as a DJ, playing house parties and local nightclubs chasing rhythm, energy, and connection through sound.
That experience opened the door to something deeper. I spent years working in semi-pro and professional recording studios, crafting beats, building tracks, and learning the language of audio from the inside out. Those long nights surrounded by cables, monitors, and reel-to-reel decks shaped my appreciation for tone, warmth, and imperfection, the beautiful heart of analog sound.
While my professional path eventually moved in a different direction, the passion for music never left.

The Present Passion
Today, I’m fortunate to work in a technology-driven field, one that keeps me connected to innovation and design, but Needle & Vine is where I return to the things that feel real.
This is where I write about music, audio gear, wine, and craft culture, not as an expert, but as someone endlessly curious. I’m not a sommelier, a brewer, or an audio engineer, just someone who finds joy in the details: the sound of a stylus meeting vinyl, the aroma of a new pour, the shared experience of analog living in a digital world.

The Vision
The goal is to bring Needle & Vine into the physical world, a record store and café that celebrates analog culture in all its forms.
The vision is simple: a place where people can browse vinyl, sip something crafted with care, and connect over shared passions. A small recording studio would sit in the back supporting local artists, teaching the next generation, and keeping creativity alive.
It’s more than a business plan; it’s a continuation of everything that’s shaped me, the blend of sound, taste, and community that’s defined my life.
The Philosophy
“Analog” isn’t just about the format, it’s a mindset. It’s about presence, patience, and the beauty of imperfection.Needle & Vine is my way of celebrating that approach, of blending sound, taste, and craft into something that reminds us that connection doesn’t need to be complicated.
